"Look, Glaucus; the waves e'en now run high, and upright about the tops of the Gyrae stands a cloud, the token of a storm; fear cometh of the unexpected."
— Archilochus, fr. 105

The mast splits the moon. That single alignment — a rusted derrick rising into a crescent so close it looks reachable — is the whole image, and Vasiliadis has waited for it rather than assembled it. The freighter lies canted on the rocks, hull streaked orange with corrosion, superstructure reduced to a silhouette of railings and booms against a sky going from petrol green to deep teal.

Everything else in the frame is water doing arithmetic. A gold path of reflected light runs from the horizon to the bottom edge, broken into hundreds of separate facets by the chop, and Vasiliadis holds detail in every one of them. Salmon cirrus streaks the upper left, catching the last colour of a sun already below the sea. Dark rock closes the foreground. The composition is almost classically balanced, and the effect is unsettling rather than calm: a wreck lit like an altarpiece, the moon caught on the rigging of a ship that will never move again.
